It's nice to know that certain others in a similar sphere (so to speak) get these thoughts too.

This I think is the crucial point. A lot of people don't shift from a God perspective because they're simply too in love with the idea of it - a God, an eternal friend, loyal guide, all-powerful all-knowing father, mentor and protector.
I realise of course that this belief is a very important part of life to so many people so I will never say anything negative about it. But I've made peace with the fact that human beings are the true creators.
